[Cue Intro]
I have a picture of the fresh air filter mounted inside the fresher intake to give you an idea of where it mounts in the fresh air. Now, I’m going to show you how you would install the fresh air filter if your fresh air intake is already mounted to the box and to the truck, and I’m going to draw your attention to these three fasteners right here.
The lower two are typically Phillip’s or Torx, bit heads. In this case, someone put in some hex head bolts, whichever, there’s gonna be two fasteners here that have to be removed once these are removed, this top one right here needs to be loosened
You’ll have enough room to slide the the fresh air filter kit into the fresh air intake. Once the filter kit is set in place and you can then use the supply fasteners to secure the pressure intake back onto the side of the truck. We also want to make sure that we tighten back. down the fastener that are located on top and then you’re done.
In order to clean the unit, you just reverse your steps. Remove the fresh air filter kit, unscrew these two screws here unscrew the two screws, remove the filter, wash it, replace it and reinstall and that’s it.
